Episode 10 (Eat Yogurt with Chopsticks) looks at one of my favorite Zen 2 Wow'isms, idea #136...Do something radical.  Eat yogurt with chopsticks, blindfolded.

This idea is designed to encourage YOU to try new things, be adventuresome, get out of the proverbial box.

I have found that getting out of my comfort zone and trying new and different things can help me become more effective, build better relationships, and become more motivated.  Perhaps the same will hold true for you.

In the podcast I share a few ideas that have helped me in one way or another.  They include:

1)      Try Google Desktop to improve efficiency

2)      Comment on Blogs and Podcasts to improve name recognition

3)      Tell people about your goals (I'd like to sit on a board of advisors for a privately held company)

Other ideas I did not get to include:

1)      Write personal thank you notes to build stronger relationship

2)      Learn to say "no" to non-revenue generating, or non-value producing activities (your time is too valuable)

I encourage you to share ideas that fit the mold of Do something radical.  Eat yogurt with chopsticks, blindfolded.  E-mail me with ideas at Rob@Zen2Wow.com.  Or, post a comment on the podcast website.

Have a nice day!

Episode 9 (A Transitioners Guide) looks at several Zen 2 Wow'isms -- all related to job transition.

Normally I take one Zen 2 Wow idea and relate it to "Best Practices" for personal or professional growth.  However, in the spirit of "CHANGE IS GOOD," I've deviated a bit for this episode.  Today I take a topic (job transition) and share 7 Zen 2 Wow ideas.

Here are a 3 of the ideas I share in podcast:

1)  On job hunting:  first call people who have the authority to hire you.

2)  Rehearse your elevator speech on any idea you are promoting Twenty seconds...GO

3)  Business is what you do, not who you are

What other Zen 2 Wow ideas do you have for those in job transition?  E-mail me with ideas at Rob@Zen2Wow.com.  Or, post a comment on the podcast website.

Have a nice day!
